BOHINJ
Lake Bohinj, the largest lake in Slovenia, is located
in Bohinj at an altitude of 525 meters and is surrounded by high
mountains rising up to 1,800 m. The entire Bohinj area, (composed
of two vallies - upper and lower lies within the Triglav National
Park. There are 24 amall villages spread around both vallies.
Here you can see, breathe and experience pure and untouched nature
– blooming meadows, clear waters, fresh air, natural and cultural
sights: (Savica Waterfall, Vogel mountain, Mostnica gorge, the
Devil’s bridge and idyllic Alpine villages). Sport enthusiasts
can enjoy skiing in Vogel and Kobla ski centers, cross-country
skiing in the Bohinj valley or the Pokljuka plateau. Bohinj is
perfect for mountaineers, sportsmen and all those who enjoy spending
their time in nature.
