The seaside town of Crikvenica
is situated on the eastern Adriatic coast, the most beautiful
part of the Kvarner bay, only 35 km from Rijeka. The little
town started to develop in the 17th century, and at the beginning
of the 20th century, the former harbor and fishing village
flourished into a tourist center. Crikvenica provides excellent
