RABAC

The former fishing village of
Rabac, situated in the eastern part of Istria, has now become
one of the most popular holiday resorts in the region. Because
of its beautiful white sandy beaches, rich Mediterranean vegetation
and crystal clear water, the town is also known as “the pearl
of the Kvarner bay ". From the tower of the Campanile
church, one can enjoy a magnificent view of Rabac, the southern
part of Istria, the Kvarner bay and as far as the island of
Cres. On the hill over Rabac lies the old town of Labin, the
cultural center of the Istria region. The most well-known
painters and sculptors came from this area. The fascinating
architecture and numerous cultural and historic monuments
create a pleasant and a unique atmosphere in the town. |
HOTEL CASTOR ***
Hotel Castor is situated 700 m from the center of
Rabac, on the peninsula of St. Andrija. The hotel was refurbished
in 2002. Due to its proximity to a pebble beach and the children’s
pool, Castor is a perfect choice for families and those who love
bathing and swimming. It is open form March to November and it
features 164 rooms and 12 three-bedded suites on 5 floors, and
2 lifts. All rooms have a satellite TV, an air conditioning, a
bathroom with a bathtub or a shower/WC and a hairdryer. Most rooms
also have a balcony.
F&B: a hotel restaurant, a lobby bar with a terrace,
a pool bar.
Other: an outdoor pool, pool for children, a fitness center, a
sauna, a massage parlor, music at evenings form March to November,
sports and recreation entertainment program from April to October,
tennis courts 150 m from the hotel.
HOTEL POLLUX ***
The hotel is located on the peninsula of St. Andrija, 700 m from the
center of Rabac. After a full renovation
in 2003, Hotel Pollux now offers its
guests a full range of services. The air-conditioned rooms, most
of them with a sea view, make the stay at the hotel even more
pleasant. The varied full-day animation program provides entertainment
for guests of all ages. The fitness center, massage parlor and
sauna at the nearby Hotel Castor are also available for guest
of Hotel Pollux. The hotel is open from
April to October. It provides 178 rooms with 6 three-bedded apartments
and 13 suites on 5 floors, and two lifts. All rooms are equipped
with a satellite TV, an air conditioning, a bathroom with a bathtub
or a shower/WC and a hairdryer. Most rooms also have a balcony.
