a sea resort in the heart of Europe. The intermingling of various
cultures and music styles, nature, culinary delights and a colorful
history create an atmosphere, in which the every day stress and

the shore, invigorating runs on the beach, swimming in the sea

The luxurious Grand Hotel Bernardin
is the first and largest convention center in Slovenia. This high
quality hotel is situated in a quiet and natural environment,
directly overlooking the sea.
The hotel provides 242 comfortably furnished rooms with balconies
and a sea view - 10 luxury suites, 22 junior suites and 8 high
standard rooms. Hotel facilities: a heated swimming pool with
sea water, Finnish saunas, a whirlpool, a fitness center, a massage
parlor, a beauty salon, a hair salon, Emona restaurant and Pecina
á la carte restaurant, Grand Café und Cocktail Lounge with piano
bar, 24-hour room service, a Tropic Bar on the hotel beach, a
gift shop, hotel safes in the reception hall, a laundry and dry
cleaner's, private beach, Laguna Bernardin water park, a luggage
service, own guarded car park and shuttle service. Room equipment:
a direct telephone line, an air conditioning, a satellite TV and

Grand Hotel Metropol*****
Grand Hotel Metropol, the magnificent
building on the hill of St. Lawrence, dominates the resort of
Portorož and offers a splendid view of the place. The hotel was
built in 1972, however it was renovated in 1996 and it now enjoys
the reputation of one of the most prestigious hotels in Slovenia.
It has become a synonym for top-quality services and ultimate
comfort all year round. The fully air-conditioned hotel features
104 rooms on 7 floors and 2 elevators. All rooms have a balcony,
hand-made furniture made of noble mahogany, a satellite TV, a
pay TV, a 24-hour room service, a direct telephone line, a mini
bar, a luxurious bathroom with a music transmission device, a
telephone, a hairdryer and a bathrobe; 16 rooms also have an Internet
connection.
F&B: a hotel restaurant with 450 seats, an á la carte
restaurant with 80 seats, an aperitif bar, a hotel terrace, and
a night club.
Other: an indoor swimming pool, Aqua Relax Center, a fitness center,
saunas, a massage parlor, a hair and a beauty salon, a night club,
a Casino, a secured car garage for 411 cars with a car wash, as
well as 6 conference halls.
Hotel Slovenija

The hotel is located in the very center of Portorož, near the
beach and the main promenade. The modern and elegantly furnished
hotel features 144 rooms and 16 junior suites. All rooms have
a balcony, most of them offer a view of the bay of Piran and the
promenade of Porotož. Featuring a mini bar, a telephone, a cable
TV, a bathroom and a hairdryer, guests are guaranteed a pleasant
stay. The suites and rooms with a sea view are air-conditioned.
Rooms with water beds are also available for guests with special
wishes.
Congress center for up to 1,000 participants.
F&B: a hotel restaurant with 300 seats, a terrace,
an aperitif bar.

Hotel Riviera

The hotel lies on the seafront promenade in the immediate vicinity
of the beach, facing the beach of Hotel Morje. The guests of Hotel
Riviera have direct access to the Wai Thai center for traditional
Thai massage, natural face and body care, as well as to the heated
swimming pools with sea water and saunas. The two hotels, Hotel
Riviera and Hotel Slovenija, are connected with swimming pools.
The comfortable Riviera provides 176 rooms and 7 suites (4 junior,
2 executive and 1 president suite), furnished in the beautiful
Mediterranean style. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped
with a mini bar, a telephone, and a cable TV; most of them offer
a view of the sea. The bathrooms also have a hairdryer.
F&B: a hotel restaurant with 250 seats, an aperitif
bar.

Hotel Roža

The hotel is located next to the Grand Hotel Metropol and the
Grand Casino. It was renovated in 2004 and it is fully air-conditioned.
All complementary services offered by Grand Hotel Metropol are
also available to the guest of Hotel Roža. The Hotel Roža features
111 air-conditioned rooms (210 beds) on 6 floors and 2 elevators.
F&B: a breakfast room with 80 seats, an outdoor terrace
with 32 seats, and an aperitif bar. All meals, except breakfast,
are served in the restaurant of the Grand Hotel Metropol.
Other: a heated swimming pool with sea water, Finnish and Turkish
saunas, a whirlpool, a fitness center, a massage parlor, a beauty

Hotel Histrion

The hotel is situated next to the former monastery church that
gave the name to the hotel complex. The four-star hotel (from
the beginning of 2002) provides 273 fully renovated and comfortably
furnished rooms and suites with balconies overlooking the sea
or the Laguna Bernardin. All rooms have a satellite TV, a telephone
and a mini bar.
Hotel Lucija

The hotel is situated along the promenade
close to the beach, in the midst of the greenery and a beautiful
ever blossoming park. It was refurbished in 1993. All services
offered by Grand Hotel Metropol are also available to the guest
of Hotel Lucija.
The hotel features 113 rooms on 4 floors and 1 elevator.
F&B: an air-conditioned breakfast room with 100 seats,
an aperitif bar, a hotel terrace.
Other: saunas, a conference hall, a multi-purpose room (suitable
for seminars with up to 100 participants and promotional exhibitions),
own parking lot.
Hotel Barbara

The hotel is situated on a slope and sheltered
by greenery. Giant cypress trees protect it from the noise and
bustle, enabling its guests to enjoy undisturbed rest and relaxation.
The hotel was fully refurbished in 2004.
The hotel provides 65 rooms on 4 floors and 1 elevator. All rooms
have a balcony, a satellite TV, a direct telephone line, a bathroom
with a shower and a hairdryer.
